What working with us costs

Straight answers, because pricing pages usually aren't.

We don't sell fixed packages. Every build is scoped to what your business actually needs, but the structure is simple, and the starting points are on this page.

Diagnosis

Where everything starts

A conversation, not a contract. Before you spend anything, we look at what you have (a broken app, a validated idea, a manual process) and find the real gap. You leave with a plain-English answer: what it needs, what it would take, and real numbers. If the honest answer is "you don't need us," that's the answer you get.

Build

From $5K

AI-enabled products and business applications, scoped openly. Rescue and rebuild work, document AI, internal tools, and integrations all start from $5K. The final number depends on what your build actually involves, and you'll know it before work begins. What that means in practice:

  • Scoped after the Diagnosis call. We price the actual work, not a package.
  • Top open. There's no preset ceiling; complex builds cost what they cost, and we'll tell you early.
  • No surprises. The estimate you approve is the number we hold ourselves to.

Support

Monthly retainer

The humans who answer when something breaks. Software isn't done when it launches. A monthly support agreement covers:

  • Performance monitoring. We watch it, so you find out about problems from us, not from your customers.
  • Security patching and upkeep. As threats change, your protection keeps up.
  • Upgrades as AI models and platforms move. The ground under your app shifts constantly; we keep it standing.
  • Ongoing maintenance. The small fixes and adjustments every living system needs.

Priced per build. Scoped to your system's size and needs, discussed on the Diagnosis call. It's the same arrangement we run on our own live products.

Their estimate for the project was reasonable, and very close to the final number. I have so much confidence in their ability to work with me, I even agreed to a support agreement with them long term.

Why we don't publish fixed package prices

Because fixed packages are how you end up paying for things you don't need, or worse, getting a build cut down to fit a price instead of built to fit your business.

The Diagnosis call exists so pricing is honest: we see what you actually have, and you get a number tied to actual work.

FAQ

How much does a typical build cost?

Builds start from $5K. Where yours lands depends on scope: a focused rescue is different from a full production build. You'll have a real number after the Diagnosis call, before any commitment.

Are there hidden costs?

No. The estimate you approve is the number we hold ourselves to. If something genuinely unexpected surfaces mid-build, we talk about it before it costs you anything.

What's the support retainer cost?

It's scoped to your build, because a small internal tool and a customer-facing platform need different levels of care. We discuss it openly on the Diagnosis call, and it's always optional.

Do you require the support agreement?

No. You own the code and the documentation; any competent developer can maintain it. Most clients choose the agreement because they'd rather have the team that built it watching it, but it's a choice, not a trap.

How is this different from hiring a freelancer?

A freelancer bills hours and moves on. We scope the work, hold the estimate, hand you documented code, and offer ongoing support after launch. You're buying an outcome and a relationship, not hours.

What if I'm still validating my idea?

Then it's too early for us, honestly. Keep testing with fast, cheap tools; that's what they're for. When real customers depend on it, come back.
